NANOROOF™ Alabama Sponsors the 2026 Alabama Construction Hike for Hope

NANOROOF™ Alabama was honored to participate in and sponsor the 2026 Alabama Construction Hike for Hope, an event supporting the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention and raising awareness for mental health and suicide prevention in the construction industry.

The hike took place on June 6, 2026, at Red Mountain Park in Birmingham, bringing together construction professionals, families, and community members for a meaningful morning of remembrance, encouragement, and hope. The event raised $10,330 in support of suicide prevention efforts.

NANOROOF™ Alabama owners Mitch and Stephen attended the event with their families and joined others on the hike to show support for a cause that matters deeply in the construction community.

According to AFSP, the construction and extraction industries have one of the highest rates of suicide in the United States, making events like the Construction Hike for Hope an important opportunity to bring awareness, resources, and conversation into the industry. The goal of the initiative is to help encourage, equip, and empower mental health champions in the workforce.

At NANOROOF™ Alabama, we believe that caring for people goes beyond the roof over their heads. We are grateful for the opportunity to stand alongside others in our industry and community to support hope, healing, and suicide prevention awareness.

Thank you to everyone who participated, donated, volunteered, and helped make this event possible.
